Radisson SAS Hotel Muscat celebrated its second anniversary with a 2001 occupancy level of 80 percent, the highest of any hotel in the Omani capital, confirmed a company press release. In its effort to maintain growing market share, Radisson Muscat has planned a series of events addressing both the local and international markets.
“Special restaurant promotions, great new entertainment outfits and an array of sporting attractions such as our established Scandinavian Golf Tournament, are just some of this year's highlights,” said hotel General Manager Marko Hytonen.
Other regional Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts are operating in Amman, Aqaba, Bahrain, Baku, Egypt, Istanbul and Kuwait. Three more Egyptian properties in Taba, Hurghada and Al-Quesir are due to open soon.
Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts currently includes 107 hotels in operation and 40 hotels under development in 37 countries and is the sole franchiser in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa for Radisson Hotels and Resorts. — (menareport.com)
