Israel-based Radcom, a network test and quality management solutions provider has added SS7 stress testing to its call quality measurement solution suite. The SS7 QPro is a common channel signaling system No. 7-protocol simulator that generates high volume public switched telephone network (PSTN) calls, enabling customers to stress test convergence devices that bridge traditional telephone and fast-growing packet-switched networks.

Radcom's SS7 QPro simulates a service switch point (SSP) that can connect to other SSPs, signaling transfer points (STPs), and multi-technology signaling or media gateways. Using ramps, poisson or normal traffic modules, vendors and service providers can use the SS7 QPro to generate test traffic and measure call quality and network performance in varied, simulated environments.

Radcom designs, manufactures, markets and supports network test and quality management solutions for service providers, developers and enterprises worldwide. The company specializes in comprehensive performance measurement and voice quality management systems for VoIP and cellular converged networks as well as in a line of high quality, integrated, multitechnology WAN/LAN/ATM test solutions. — (menareport.com)
