The Chairman of the Board of the Qatari Telecommunication Company (QTEL), Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al-Thani, estimated the company’s profits at 863 million Qatari Riyals ($237 million) in 2001 compared with QR 725 million in 2000, reported Al-Hayat .
