House rents are set to go down by some 20 per cent over the next seven to eight months, said the Qatari Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Economy and Commerce, Yousef Hussein Kamal.
In a recent interview with QTV telecast, Kamal noted that the supply of residential units had risen, easing the housing shortage. He, however, added that the direct impact of the increased supply would be felt on the rent situation over time.
