Qatari businessmen are exploring business opportunities in the Egyptian market and particularly in keen to set up new real estate projects, according to Mahmood Yunis, Chairman of QEC Group, a Doha based construction and contracting firm.
Speaking from Cairo, Yunis told the Peninsula that among the major projects that he will be exploring on behalf of several well established Qatari real estate firms is the construction of a giant shopping mall within the next two years. The $ 50 million shopping mall is to become one of the biggest shopping centers of its kind in Egypt, Yunis added.
