Indian IT service provider Wipro has been selected by Qatar Petroleum (QP) to provide technology consulting services for their Ras Abu Aboud Development Project.
Completion of the project is estimated to take 12 months and will involve Wipro consultants working on designing, architecting and testing the solution in Qatar, stated a press release.
Wipro launched its Middle East operations in early 2001 in Dubai Internet City and since then, has expanded its business across the Middle East to include Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. Wipro provides IT services and solutions including infrastructure management services, IT outsourcing, consulting, software and e-procurement services. — (menareport.com)
