A new Qatari company began providing brokerage services at the Doha Securities Market (DSM) Monday and a number of investors opened trading accounts with it. According to the Peninsula, the company, which was established at the initiative of the state, has launched two brokerage firms, one for conventional services and the second one for Islamic stock trading.
The company took buy and sale orders and fed them into the electronic trading platform at the DSM.
Meanwhile, The index of DSM gained 166.92 points Monday taking the benchmark to 11,219.98.
