The Qatari cabinet has issued a decision to allow other GCC nationals to purchase real estate in the country subject to some conditions. According to Al Sharq the new step would bring in huge investments from neighbouring states. Qatari businessmen were quoted as saying by the newspaper they saw house and commercial rents stabilizing since supply may soon exceed demand.
