Nasser bin Khaled and Sons Group (NBKS) on Monday declared the launch of an estimated QR3.5bn Al Waab City development project covering over 1.2 million square metres area.
According to the Peninsula, the project is being developed by Al Waab Development Company, a limited shareholding company comprising local and foreign investors and was designed by Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum Inc. (HOC). Amwal was selected as the project financial advisor. at the heart of the development of the city is 'Barahat Al Waab', an urban piazza hosting an array of facilities.
Al Waab City will provide housing for over 10,000 people and will comprise over 2,200 residential units, commercial space and a world class 300-room hotel.
