Qatar Airways has opened its new office in Khartoum. The office was opened as part of the airline’s plan to establish a presence in cities that form part of the airline's growing network, stated a press release.

“The opening of the new Qatar Airways office preceded the raising of the frequency of Doha-Khartoum flights from the current four a week to daily from November 22, 2002,” stated the airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Akbar Al-Baker. Qatar Airways will fly both the Airbus A300-600 and the A-320 aircraft on the Doha-Khartoum route.

Qatar Airways flies to over 35 destinations in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. It has chalked out an ambitious growth plan to raise the number of destinations to over 50 and double the fleet strength in the next two years. — (menareport.com)
