Qatar Airways is now offering two weekly Doha-Sharjah flights landing at Sharjah International Airport. The airline has plans to bring the number of new routes to six in 2002 with flights to Hyderabad planned for launch in November.
The Sharjah route is carried by an Airbus 320, with a configuration of 12 first class seats and 132 economy class seats. This new line also brings a total of 43 flights flying weekly from the United Arab Emirates (UAE); 21 weekly from Dubai, twice weekly from Sharjah and 20 weekly from Abu Dhabi.
Now flying to over 35 destinations in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Qatar Airways has chalked out an ambitious growth plan to raise the number of destinations to over 50 and double the fleet strength in the next two years. — (menareport.com)
