PWC Logistics UAE has been appointed by SpL Food Service, a division of the Al-Seer Group, to offer freight management and logistics support in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
The exclusive three-year agreement will bring in to play the 'just-in-time' services provided by PWC Logistics, towards hotel fulfilment of housekeeping and food items, stated a press release.
PWC Logistics' agreement with SPL includes procurement of specialized food items and housekeeping products for use by hotel trade; logistics services to cover freight, customs and clearance formalities; product care and preparation, and delivery. The agreement will currently serve the GCC markets of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, and will be expanded as required.
