Canon Middle East announced that Puzant Yacoubian and Sons has been appointed as its new distribution partner for its photographic and video products in Syria, in a bid to increase the company’s market share in the country.
The distribution agreement covers Canon’s line of photo/video products, including its SLR, compact and digital cameras. Puzant Yacoubian and Sons will also distribute Canon camcorders, as well as XL1 interchangeable-lens for digital video cameras.
“Our new partnership with Puzant Yacoubian and Sons broadens our reach, and gives us more resources on the ground here to build on our market share,” said Gordon Jones, president of Canon Middle East.
George Syriani will continue to distribute Canon’s office products, including black and white copiers, printers, scanners, wide format printers, faxes, personal copiers, software solution to document management systems and projectors.
