The Lebanese Ministry of Petroleum raised the price of benzene per canister by one Lebanese Pound, reported Al-Watan . This is the second price rise since the beginning of February, whereby the ministry increased the price of benzene per canister by 10 percent on February 2, due to the value added tax imposed by the government in the beginning of the same month. The new price per canister of Octane 98’ stands at LL 19,900, per canister, the price of unleaded benzene stands at LL 17,700 per canister and the price per of unleaded Octane 90’ benzene stands at LL 17,500. — (menareport.com)
