President of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Obaid Humaid Al-Tayer, has called on President of the Anatolia Chamber of Commerce Mendel Turel to help increase the participation of Turkish companies and factories in specialist commercial and tourism exhibitions, as well as in the conferences and seminars organized by Dubai annually.
This comes with the aim of promoting the Turkish products and industries and benefiting from the vital modern facilities provided by Dubai, in addition to Dubai’s strategic location to double the size of Turkey’s exports and re-exports via Dubai’s ports and into Dubai’s regional and global markets.
This came during Al-Tayer’s meeting with Turel last Wednesday, which was attended by Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Abdul Rahman G Al-Mutaiwi, and Consul General of the Republic of Turkey, Tufan Alpman.
Al-Tayer pointed out during the meeting many investment opportunities available to the Turkish businessmen in the tourism sector such as in investing in the Palm Island, other opportunities lays in the free zones such as in Jebel Ali and in the Dubai International Airport area, as well as in both the Media and Internet cities.
In addition, Al-Tayer stressed the importance of consolidating the relations between the two chambers with the aim of enhancing and developing trade and widening the economic co-operation fields between the two states. — (menareport.com)
