Ramada Downtown Dubai promotes Wael El Behi as General Manager

Ramada Downtown Dubai, located in Dubai’s most prestigious and vibrant district, has promoted Wael El Behi as General Manager. He will continue the role of maintaining the property’s reputation as the preferred hotel in the Downtown area for both local and international visitors due to its stunning location, convenient facilities and value for money. 

El Behi joined Ramada Downtown in June 2011 as Executive Assistant Manager and assumed the Acting General Manager post since September 2011 before his promotion. 

Commenting on his appointment, El Behi said: “I would like to thank our owning company and Ramada International for entrusting me with this responsibility. I am very proud to be associated with Ramada Downtown Dubai because the brand sells for itself. Our customer-oriented approach, prime location, first-class facilities and dedicated team are the key in achieving our target to be the leading hotel in downtown area. With the support of my team, we will continue to generate more promotions to target a wider share of the market such as corporate accounts, diplomatic groups and exhibitors!” 

With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, El Behi has extensive knowledge in sales, marketing and operations in luxury hotel brands. Before moving to Ramada Downtown Dubai, he was with Coral Hotels & Resorts where he held several managerial positions including Executive Assistant Manager of Coral Deira Dubai, General Manager of Coral Boutique Villas and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing. He moved in 2009 to open Suha Hotel Apartments in Jumeirah Beach Residence as General Manager and then with Auris Hotel Management as Director Business Development in March 2010.
