VIVA’s human resources team to hold walk-in interviews
VIVA, Kuwait’s newest and most advanced mobile telecommunications service provider, today announced that it will hold a two day walk-in interview event especially for 2012 Kuwaiti graduates. The sessions will give graduates who are interested in a career with VIVA to present their resumes and have a ten minute interview with a member of VIVA’s Human Resources team. The event will be held at Hotel Missoni in Kuwait, on 15 and 16 May 2012 from 10am until 10pm.
Dr. Waleed Al Tararwah Chief Human Resources Officer at VIVA said: “At VIVA, we are committed to recruiting and developing Kuwaiti graduates, as well as investing in community initiatives that encourage young people to join the telecommunications sector. During this special two day event, VIVA hopes to see as many Kuwaiti nationals as possible who are interested in career opportunities in the telecom sector.
“We are committed to growing and developing our business successfully and as a part of this, we want to attract and retain Kuwaiti talent and invest in community initiatives that encourage young people to join the telecommunications sector.
“We believe VIVA has an important responsibility in the telecom sector and the entire private sector to encourage local young people to develop, as well as invest in their future,” added Al Tararwah.
VIVA’s human resources, marketing, and public relations teams have worked hard to ensure that all aspects relating to the Walk-In Interviews meet the company’s objective through a rigorous screening process to identify talented young Kuwaitis who have the potential to join VIVA.
VIVA recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Manpower and Government Restructuring Program (MGRP), implementing the government’s policy to encourage the development of job opportunities for the Kuwaitis in the private sector. Under the terms of the MoU, both VIVA and MGRP agreed to work together within a framework of specific programs to open up employment opportunities for Kuwaitis in the company. In addition, VIVA will support MGRP’s ongoing efforts in areas that are designed to provide job opportunities for nationals at non-governmental institutions through the support of small businesses and training programs.
VIVA will continue to enhance its employees’ insight of the telecom industry while also providing its customers with the excellent services and telecom solutions today and in the future.
