Visa offers cardholders in Jordan ‘life-time opportunity’ to experience 2014 World Cup Brazil

As part of its sponsorship of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, Visa Inc., one of the world’s largest retail electronic payments networks, has launched a promotion to send two valued cardholders in the Kingdom of Jordan to 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil group and final matches. 

The campaign, set to run between January 1, 2014 and February 28, 2014, connects with football fans across the Kingdomby driving preference for and usage of Visa products. It is also to promote Visa’s partnership with the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, by enhancing purchasing experiencesfor all cardholders throughawarding great prizes. 

Throughout the campaign, Visa cardholders will enter a raffle draw each time they make a purchase using their credit, prepaid,gift or debit Visa card. At the end, twolucky winners will get an unmatched opportunity to experience Brazil through an all-expense paid trip, including airline tickets, meet and greet arrangements, transportation, hotel accommodation, and group or final game tickets, not to mention their own prepaid Visa card covering their pocket money for the trip.

Visa’s Country Manager for Jordan, Iraq and Palestine, Ali Jabbar added that through its sponsorship of FIFA, Visa is able to offer unique experiences exclusive to its cardholders that add the feel of excitement and anticipation to the list of benefits of Visa’s products. He also confirmed that many of Visa’s partner banks in the Kingdom have enrolled in the campaign, and one or two of these banks are even running their own additional activities where they will be giving away rewards exclusively to their clients. 

Visa is one of six global FIFA partners with global rights in the “Financial Services” product category to all FIFA World CupTM activities. This partnership follows its debut as an official sponsor at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and has run through 2014 to include the rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Germany 2011 and the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. Visa recently announced the extension of its sponsorship of FIFA through 2022.
