Two New Ramada Hotels to Open in Oman

Wyndham Hotel Group has partnered with Oman-based contracting firm Al Khaleel Group to launch two new hotels in the sultanate under the Ramada brand name, said a report.

Ramada Encore, a three-star hotel offering 140 deluxe rooms and 24 suites, will be strategically located along Sultan Qaboos main road in Al Ghubrah, a short distance from Muscat International Airport, nearby shopping centres and Oman’s renowned Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. The property will feature state-of-the-art business facilities, leisure amenities, a rooftop cafe and pool as well as male and female fitness centres and all-day dining restaurants and  coffee lounge, said a report in Times of Oman.

The second project is a four-star Ramada Hotel and Suites, will be located next to the Ramada Encore and inter-connected by a footbridge. Ramada Hotel & Suites Muscat will offer contemporary accommodation across 90 high-end suites and share its leisure facilities with those at the Ramada Encore.

Al Khaleel Group has assigned the construction work of both properties to Al Rawahi International, another leading contracting firm in the country, the report said.

“The collaboration with Al Rawahi International brings much value to this project due to their vast and long years of experience in the construction of similar projects in hospitality,” he added.
