Turkish Airlines adds Colombo, Sri Lanka

Turkish Airlines, the national carrier of Turkey and Europe’s best airline, has added Colombo, Sri Lanka as its 219th destination, connecting now to 98 countries, the largest country-network for any airline in the world. 

Turkish Airlines will operate flights from Istanbul to Colombo five times a week, linking Colombo, Sri Lanka's largest city and financial hub, to the worldwide network of Turkish Airlines. 

The flights are from Istanbul via the Maldives to Colombo (TK730) and depart every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sundays at 01.10 LMT to reach Colombo at 15.10 LMT.
