Turkish Airlines honours Local Travel Agents in Jeddah

Turkish Airlines has brought together local travel agencies and business partners for the year 2011 who obtained remarkable results in sales and showed great support to the company’s current success.
More than 200 travel industry representatives as well as members of the media attended the airline’s first reception, “Annual Travel Agency Awards Ceremony 2011-12” held at the Park Hayt Hotel in Jeddah.
Turkish Airlines honored the top 25 travel agents in Jeddah based on their achievements during last year and to recognize those agents who have contributed the highest level of value and support to the airline over the last year.
In his speech, General Manager of Turkish Airlines Jeddah Branch Osman Hacimahmutoglu expressed his warm appreciation to his guests and praised them for their support to make it a success year for Turkish Airlines here in Saudi Arabia.
“We really do value your role which made it easier for us to reach our customers and make them fly the Turkish Airlines, one of the fastest growing airlines.” He said.
On the other hand, Mustaf Pehlivan, regional marketing manager highlighted the achievements of Turkish Airlines for the previous year and announced the new two destinations Yanbu and Taif in addition to their flights from Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina and Dammam.
Afterwards award giveaway ceremony was held for the most selling travel agencies in two categories, Business & Comfort Class Sales and Overall Sales. The awards were given by Vice Consul General of the Republic of Turkey Gemil Tahrali, General Manager of Turkish Airlines Jeddah Branch Osman Hacimahmutoglu, Regional Marketing Manager Mustafa Pehlivan and Regional Sales Manager Mevlut Kaya.
