Copthorne Hotel Dubai Promotes Tohamy Gad to Front Office Manager

Copthorne Hotel Dubai, the popular hotel located in Port Saeed in Deira, has announced the promotion of Tohamy Gad to Front Office Manager.

Gad joined the 210-room hotel in 2009 as Guest Service agent and quickly added additional responsibilities to his role by becoming Night Manager after two years. He advanced to the position of Assistant Front Office Manager in 2014.

“We are very pleased to announce Tohamy’s promotion to Front Office Manager. He has been an integral part of the success and milestones achieved by the team,” said General Manager Glenn Nobbs. “We were so impressed with his leadership and guest service skills he has demonstrated over the years, and how he has a sound affinity with our guests. Many of our long-term guests appreciate and admire the attention he extends.”

“Tohamy is a true example of loyalty and team spirit. His continuous desire for growth and the capacity to quickly learn all of the intricate details of managing the front office of a busy hotel make him the right person for the position,” added Nobbs. 

As Front Office Manager, Gad is responsible for leading the teams of Front Desk, Guest Relations, Telephone Operator, Bell Service and Transportation, with an emphasis on further developing our Front Office colleagues, improving our Guest Satisfaction results and incremental revenue generation.  

On his promotion, he said: “I take great satisfaction in hearing good feedback about my teams’ service. I have always had a big heart for hospitality. I hope to add value to the team so we can create many more memorable experiences for our guests.” 

An Egyptian national, Gad holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration from Cairo University and enjoys watching non-fiction movies and spending time with his family.
