Tetra Pak to Host a Packaging Master Class During the Inaugural Private Label and Licensing Middle East

As a Partner of the inaugural Private Label and Licensing Middle East Exhibition, Tetra Pak, the world's leading food processing and packaging solutions company will be hosting a Packaging Masterclass during the second day of the event (30 October). Tetra Pak’s Packaging Masterclass will take participants through a journey of how to make their brand stand out; addressing the future of packaging, emerging food trends and e-grocery.
Tetra Pak’s team will also address one of the hottest topics occurring in the F&B industry scene: sustainable food packaging alternatives organic, plant based, and fair trade, and many other industry related topics. Join us and review successful examples of businesses that managed to achieve premium status through packaging design.
Peter Arvidsson, Director – Food Solutions at Tetra Pak, will cover how the food and beverage industry is in constant change. “We can see increased consumer demand on convenience, harder regulations on sustainability regionally and globally and a much more competitive landscape than before. These new challenges give us new possibilities to constantly be and do better.” He says.
During the Private Label and Licensing Middle East show, Tetra Pak will also showcase its carton solutions for canned food, Tetra Recart®. Adapted by 150 brands in 50 markets, Tetra Recart® is the first retortable carton package designed for shelf-stable food products with particles of almost any size such as vegetables, beans, sauces, soups, ready meals and pet food.
Tetra Recart® is a more environmentally sound alternative to tin cans and glass jars because it is renewable, recyclable and responsibly sourced. It also generates five times lower CO2 emissions than tin cans and glass jars*.
Peter Arvidsson, Director – Food Solutions at Tetra Pak adds: “We would like the canned food business in the Middle East & Africa to become more sustainable. Tetra Recart® contributed largely to sustaining successful business models for many of our customers across the globe, and we would be honoured to make it accessible to more customers through this platform.
“We have a significant network of manufacturers and co-packers that can provide a wide range of products and solutions that are not yet available in the Middle East & Africa. Local brands and private labels would be the first beneficiaries of these solutions.”
