Tamkeen visits Ma’atam Isa Town and Shaikhan Al Farsi Centre

As part of its Community Engagement Initiative, Tamkeen held two orientation sessions at Ma’atem Isa Town and Shaikhan AlFarsi Centre to introduce participants to Tamkeen’s various programmes and how they contribute to their development and growth, in addition to providing consultancy within the Kingdom’s private sector and how best to adopt to the continually changing local economic environment. 

During the sessions, the attendees set forth various questions regarding Tamkeen’s programmes on how to grow their businesses or achieve their career aspirations. In addition, the attendees also provided opinions and recommendations regarding the type of support they need the most in order to meet their business or career aspirations.

Tamkeen

Tamkeen is a public authority established in August 2006, tasked with supporting Bahrain’s private sector and positioning it as the key driver of economic growth and development. Tamkeen is one of the cornerstones of Bahrain’s national reform initiatives and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

Tamkeen has two primary objectives - firstly, foster the development and growth of enterprises, and second provide support to enhance the productivity and training of the national workforce. To achieve these objectives -Tamkeen’s 2018-2020 strategy focuses on Diversifying offerings, Accelerate delivery and Sustaining Impact.
