Tamkeen received a delegation from “Ladies First International”, a worldwide women network headquartered in France, as part of the delegation’s current visit to the Kingdom from April 2 – 6. The delegation was introduced to the wide range of Tamkeen’s support programmes to Bahrainis and enterprises within the private sector, including those dedicated to providing training and funding to empower Bahraini women and increase their contribution to economic development, in line with Vision 2030.

The delegation was headed by Mrs. Marie-Blanche Sirven-Vienot, President of First Ladies International. Accompanying her were Mrs. Sherifa Al-Belooshi, wife of HE the Ambassador of Bahrain in France, society members, and senior representatives from the office of HRH Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King of Bahrain.

Ladies First International is a non-profit organisation whose members include 450 leading women from 55 nationalities. The society seeks to connect leading women in various fields across the globe.

Tamkeen

Tamkeen is a public authority established in August 2006, tasked with supporting Bahrain’s private sector and positioning it as the key driver of economic growth and development. Tamkeen is one of the cornerstones of Bahrain’s national reform initiatives and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
