Tamkeen launches “Start Your Business” initiative for start up entrepreneurs

As part of Tamkeen’s Advisory Services and its ongoing efforts to reach different segments and provide Bahrainis with the skills to become employees of choice in the private sector, Tamkeen held its fourth public guidance session under the theme “Start Your Business”.

The session, which aimed to guide attendees on the fundamental lessons of starting their own projects and ventures, focused on skills development and business idea generation, step-by-step start-up procedure to set up individual businesses. In addition, the session covered all operational and establishment aspects in detail. “Start Your Business”  is tailored for  start-up entrepreneurs, and offers attendees the opportunity to raise queries and get them answered by the session’s moderators.

Tamkeen’s Chief Executive, Dr. Ebrahim Janahi, commented on the guidance session saying: “Tamkeen constantly seeks to empower the Bahraini public throughout their professional journey; the public guidance and orientation sessions come in line with this goal with the aim to introduce the young and new entrepreneurs to the field of entrepreneurship, in addition to familiarising them with Tamkeen’s programmes. The positive impact of coaching  start up entrepreneurs and providing them with information and tools to succeed ensures they have their impact on Bahrain’s business community as the Kingdom’s new generation of difference makers.”

”Start Your Business” is the fourth public guidance session stemming from stakeholders’ feedback received from entrepreneurs and the larger business community during the launch of Tamkeen’s Advisory Services. The initiative will continue with three additional events to be announced in due time.
