Tamkeen Business Quiz Show final & public grand prize draw for Mitsubishi ASX crossover set for 24 august

The Grand Finale of the Tamkeen Business Quiz Show, founded and organised by FinMark Communications, will take place on 24 August 2011 at 9pm at the Cultural Centre in Manama and is open for free attendance to the public. The final round of the Quiz Show series, which has been held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and the President of Bahrain Olympics Committee, will see the successful teams from the previous four industry quiz nights compete for a Grand Finale winner.
Successful teams that have advanced to the finale are teams ARIG, Promethean, Bahrain Bourse and Al Salam Bank, each having beaten out three other competing industry teams for a chance to win the show and a number of exciting prizes. The final quiz will test the teams’ knowledge of Bahrain, Bahraini business and industry and the general knowledge of the participants. It will also include a creative challenge seeing each team present their industry and their industry’s contribution to the Kingdom and its citizens through song, dance or other creative performances. The winning six-member team will receive BD 1000 in cash and six LCDs from YK Al Moayyed with the second place team winning six tickets to Dubai compliments of Dadabhai Travel.
In addition to watching the excitement of the quiz challenge between the teams, audience members will also have the chance compete in games to win cash and other prizes as well as to watch a number of live dance and musical performances on the Cultural Centre stage. The evening’s entertainment at the finale will include Bahraini break dancing sensation Salah Abdulmajeed, a semi-finalist on Arabs’ Got Talent. The night will also feature live musical performances by Bahraini singers Mohammad Janahi and Hamad Al Fardan, compliments of UrFilez.
Beyond corporate and audience participation live at the events, the general public has also been taking part in the Quiz since it was launched at the start of Ramadan. Members of the public have been logging on to www.tamkeenquiz.com and answering a number of business-related quiz questions in order to enter the draw and a chance to win a new Mitsubishi ASX Crossover, which has been valued at BD8000 and donated by Al Zayani Investments. A winner will be chosen and announced live at the Show on the 24th of August.
The Show has been created by FinMark Communications in order utilize the Ramadan period to promote unity and team work among Bahraini businesses and the community at large. Importantly, the Show has also focused on building awareness of Bahrain’s key industries, companies and the talented individuals working within them through quiz nights that have included leading Bahraini companies and employees across the Banking, Insurance, Investments, Capital Markets, Telecommunications, Technology and Industrial sectors.
