Tamkeen’s community engagement initiative continues

As part of its community outreach initiative, representatives from Tamkeen visited Ebrahim Al-Doy Majlis and Al-Shakoora Youth Club where they explained to the attendees Tamkeen’s role in supporting enterprises and Bahrainis, and highlighted the various programmes from which they can benefit. Mr. Yousif Ali, Senior Manager in Customer Engagement and Support, Mr. Raed Abdulla, Manager in Customer Engagement and Support attended the sessions that were held at the Majlis and the Club.
The visits are conducted to drive awareness about the various programmes that Tamkeen provides for enterprises and Bahrainis to enhance their capabilities and boost their contribution to economic development. The team also engaged with the attendees to guide them to the programmes most relevant to them, as well as noting feedback on how Tamkeen can further improve the services it provides.
To date, more than 66,000 Bahraini individuals and enterprises in Bahrain have benefited from Tamkeen programmes to date, and the total number is expected to rise to more than 100,000.

Tamkeen
Tamkeen is a public authority established in August 2006, tasked with supporting Bahrain’s private sector and positioning it as the key driver of economic growth and development. Tamkeen is one of the cornerstones of Bahrain’s national reform initiatives and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
Tamkeen has two primary objectives - firstly, foster the development and growth of enterprises, and second provide support to enhance the productivity and training of the national workforce. To achieve these objectives -Tamkeen’s 2018-2020 strategy focuses on Diversifying offerings, Accelerate delivery and Sustaining Impact.
