Students Program Robots at Qatar National Library’s Science Competition

More than 300 students from schools across Qatar participated at Qatar National Library’s Robotics Competition. Held from 19 to 20 November, the event was one of the largest science competitions of its kind in Qatar.
Demonstrating their programming skills, the students were judged on the speed and accuracy with which their robots could follow a straight line. The robots also engaged in sumo wrestling matches.
Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the annual competition engages students in an active learning environment and helps them develop innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
