Star footballers of UAE Olympics Team visit Panasonic stand at GITEX

Habib Sardan, Abdul Aziz Haikal and Saad Suroor, star players of the UAE U-23 national team, visited the Panasonic stand to experience the 152 inch 3D Full HD plasma television.

Sardan, Haikal and Suroor scored big with the large Panasonic panels on display.

Panasonic will also be focusing on sports marketing solutions in the region. At GITEX the company is displaying a host of products and solution including large LCD screen for stadiums and live sporting events.

Football is the number one sport in the UAE and Panasonic is committed to helping the UAE FA develop local talent to be successful not just regionally but in a global arena. Panasonic's sponsorship is based on supporting a number of global events and activities that resonate with the company’s philosophy of contributing to society by providing cutting edge technology. The agreement, which will initially cover the next three years, will see the Panasonic logo placed on the jerseys of all the UAE national football teams. The Japanese manufacturer will also have branding rights in the stadiums for all home and away matches.

The footballers also learned about Panasonic’s eco concepts, namely the Home Energy Management System (HEMS) on display at GITEX. Panasonic have effectively created an advanced model of a home at their stand at GITEX 2011. The Japanese manufacturer is demonstrating efficient use of energy by promoting widespread use of energy-saving devices and proposing new solutions that integrate measures for energy creation, storage and management.
