Sony Middle East has won the ‘Best Camera of the Year’ Award for its α7R camera at the Gitex 2015 - Hot Stuff Awards at Dubai World Trade Centre.

The α7R camera delivers an innovative imaging experience with the world’s first 42.4 MP, back-illuminated 35mm full-frame sensor. The mirrorless cameras are the growth category in the global camera business, and thanks to many innovations from Sony, Sony is continuously delivering game-changing imaging products that are evolving the way enthusiasts can see and capture the world. Since its launch in 2013, the Gitex Hot Stuff Awards backed by Stuff magazine has grown from strength to strength. Awards are handed out to the best gadgets from around the world in the categories of ‘Best Mobile of the Year’, ‘Best Laptop of the Year’ and ‘Best Tablet of the Year’, to name just a few.
