Sharjah Islamic Bank organizes workshop for students on ‘Success Keys to Professional Excellence’ in the banking sector
Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) organized a workshop entitled "Success Keys to Professional Excellence" as part of its "Mehnati" program, which aims to equip university and college students with skills and practical experience in the financial and banking field.
The workshop, which was held in the SIB's main building, included an overview of Islamic banking, the history of banks, their functions and types, the concept of Islamic banks, and the vision, mission and values of Sharjah Islamic Bank. In addition, the training helped develop goal-setting skills, communication and interview skills. Participants learned how to apply for jobs and explored learning resources for training courses and specialized certificates.
Achieving maximum success in Islamic banking
On this occasion, Fadheela AL Marzouqi, Head of Human Resources at Sharjah Islamic Bank, said: "Attracting and embracing university and college students and enhancing their expertise and knowledge comes in implementation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The bank was originally founded as National Bank of Sharjah and was suited the first bank to convert to Islamic Banking in 2002.
