This comes within the framework of its social responsibility and affirms the values of compassion and the principles of social solidarity. The SIB provides about two thousand Iftar meals daily. In addition, two air-conditioned tents characterized by cleanliness and organization are fully equipped for lighting, electricity, air conditioning, and security and safety equipment."

He explained that the SIB employees and collaborators supervise the organization of the Iftar tent, which is located near the King Faisal Mosque. In cooperation with Sharjah Charity International, the second Iftar tent is situated on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, next to Aldhiya'a Mosque.

Allocating charitable initiatives in accordance with the values of goodness and tolerance

In addition, during the holy month of Ramadan every year, Sharjah Islamic Bank is keen to support accredited charitable initiatives that serve the largest number of individuals.  This is based on the SIB's commitment to implement the principles of social responsibility and according to the values of goodness and tolerance. For the fourth consecutive year, the bank has supported the Ramadan community initiative, "Mirak at your doorstep", in cooperation with the Sharjah Charity International and the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department, to prepare food baskets.  The initiative involves the distribution of 4,000 food baskets containing all the basic food essentials to the needy families in the UAE.
