Shankar Ehsaan Loy to take ADNEC by storm this December

Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, and Loy Mendonsa, three of the biggest names in Indian music, and collectively known as SEL, are set to breeze in to ADNEC’s Abu Dhabi Hall for a one-off performance in the UAE capital, on Friday 16 December 2011.

SEL will deliver their trademark fusion of classical Hindustani and Carnatic music blended with western rock, including chart-topping hits that look set to leave the audience dancing in the aisles. Ticket prices start from AED 95 for standard seating and go up to AED 1,000 for the diamond package with front-row seats. SEL fans can choose their seats on boxofficeme.com, or by calling 800 90. “Shankar Ehsaan Loy are at the peak of their popularity and undoubtedly, three of the biggest names in Indian music today. ADNEC is delighted to be able to bring them together on one stage, for the very first time in Abu Dhabi. This will be the night of the year for many of their fans and SEL’s electrifying performance would challenge anybody to stay seated during the show,” said Christina Anthony, Sales and Marketing Director, ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company), which is presenting the show.

“With such a large expatriate community from the sub-continent in Abu Dhabi and the UAE, we know tickets will fly fast so SEL fans have to book early,” Anthony added.

The talented musical trio have composed music for more than 50 films in four languages, including the hit film ‘My name is Khan,’ for which they received the ‘Best Background Score’ at the International Indian Film Awards. Composing the official anthem for the ICC Cricket World Cup this year, ‘De Ghumaa Ke’, broadened SEL’s following among youth and cricket fans within days of the single’s release.
