See Nakheel’s Destinations Through The Lens Of New Photography Competition

Nakheel has launched Through the Lens, a new photography and videography competition in association with Nikon, open to amateurs and professionals, with the chance to win big prizes and have their works displayed at a public exhibition in Dubai.

Nakheel’s iconic developments have been captured from various perspectives, even from space, and this time, participants are challenged to use their unique vision to showcase Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Islands, The World, Jumeirah Park and other communities, or popular destinations like Ibn Battuta Mall, Dragon Mart, The Pointe, Palm West Beach, The View and Nakheel Mall, like never seen before in photos and videos.

Participants are welcome to employ varied techniques, exposures and textures to produce works that mirror the innovative and iconic nature of Nakheel’s locations. The submissions will be judged and scored by a panel of industry experts, looking for the very best in creativity.

Those interested in participating can visit ttl.nakheel.com to register and can begin ground shooting following a confirmation from Nakheel. Aerial shooting by drone or helicopter is subject to the approvals of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Film and TV Commission, and Ministry of Defence, as well as a No Objection Certificate from Nakheel. All submissions must be made online through the website before midnight of 10 March 2022.

In each category of photo and video, a lucky winner will have the chance to win the grand prize of AED20,000. There are also prizes of AED15,000 for second place, AED10,000 for third place as well as seven runner-up prizes of AED5,000 up for grabs.
