Samsung Electronics Levant sponsors Jadal’s Album launch event

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics and ranking 9th in Interbrands List for 2012, announced its sponsorship to launch the Jordanian Band Jadal’s new album named “EL MAKINA” on Saturday 29 of December at Virgin Mega Store – City Mall.

President of Samsung Levant, Mr. Bumsok Hong commented on sponsoring this event by saying: “We are pleased of our continuous support to Jordanian talents, and to be part of sponsoring one of the greatest and most unique Bands in Jordan, Samsung Electronics sponsorship for this artistic event, comes from its firm belief in the important role music and art plays in the youth community.”

Through the previous years, Samsung Levant has focused its attention on the Jordanian youth and sponsoring their talents, starting from kids at the “Madrasati” initiative, where Samsung aimed to provide children with the proper educational environment and tools to set them on the right track, to adopting the young talented fashion designer Raya Bsharat at the Mercedes Fashion Week held in Amman, in addition to sponsoring BAB Concert that gathered a large number artists under one roof.  

It’s worth mentioning that Jadal, the Jordanian Rock band was first established by the Musician and Composer Mahmoud Radaideh during the year of 2003 where they released ‘El Tobah’ (Repentance), a cover of Abdul Halim Hafez’s legendary love song their musical style, coined as Arabic Rock, then released the song “Salma” followed by “Bye Bye Azizi” and various other songs that led into a huge success among the Jordanian and Arabic youth culture to be later coined as an Arabic Rock Band that shined with their uniqueness and mixture between the Arabic culture generally and the Jordanian culture specifically combined with the western Rock in harmony. Jadal now celebrates their ongoing success by launching their new album and top it out with tours in the Arabic region and Europe.
