Demands by Small and Medium Businesses drive the need for advanced printing solutions

The SCX-3405 series multi-functional printers and ML-2165 printers are equipped with Samsung’s Easy Eco Driver solution, enabling custom settings to manage and control printing costs. Without editing the original document, users can edit and avoid printing unnecessary text or images, resulting in an efficient use of toner and paper. The Results Simulator within the Easy Eco Driver solution shows users the expected results of reduced CO2 emission, electricity usage, paper and toner consumption for the document to be printed in accordance with the user’s settings. Additionally by changing particular settings, users can see expected cost and environmental implications thereby making them aware of the potential energy and cost savings of the settings they choose. 

In addition, as mobile printing is becoming an increasingly important aspect of the modern business life, the SCX-3405W & SCX-3405FW allows users to both access and print files/documents from any mobile device installed with Samsung’s MobilePrint application. Moreover, the Wi-Fi Direct feature makes it possible to connect Wi-Fi Direct enabled devices – mobiles, TV’s and cameras, to the MFP directly without any access points leaving out complicated start-up processes and device configurations. 

There is no question that mobile employees are producing and accessing digital documents like never before. Such increased access to information is causing a need for document management solutions that not only address enterprise mobility, but also reduce costs and environmental impact.
