Samsung introduces interactive Olympics mobile application in the Region

Samsung Electronics Co, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies andWorldwide Partner of London 2012 Olympics Games, is bringing Olympics closer to the community by launching a dedicated Olympics Mobile Application, Samsung Take Part 2012. 

Available in Samsung Apps and the Google Play Store, the new Samsung: Take Part 2012 application enables the community to be involved in the Olympic Games while building the overall excitement for the event. The app allows users to compete in 3D and Augmented Reality sports. In addition, it provides a variety of Olympic Games content, allowing users to take virtual 360° interactive 3D tours of the Olympic Stadium and other official venues, test their knowledge with polls and trivia and keep up with the latest news about the Olympic Games. The app is best experienced on the powerful hardware of the Samsung GALAXY S III, Samsung’s official Olympic Games phone.

With the device’s intuitive features such as the Pop-Up Play, users can watch the Games on their screen uninterrupted while simultaneously doing other tasks on their phone.
