Samsung Gulf Electronics, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today unveiled its French door refrigerator, the AW3, to consumers who crave added food storage, convenience and sophisticated style in a refrigerator.

“We identified what consumers want and need from a refrigerator and incorporated these features into the four-door AW3 series,” said Mr. Robin Kadyan, Sales Manager of Digital Appliance Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics. “The result is a stunning, sleek home appliance specifically developed to address consumers’ food storage requirements,” he added.

Compact in its dimensions yet large in capacity, Samsung’s AW3 refrigerator has three extra cubic feet of volume compared to conventional models. The refrigerator features four doors for increased access, including a large freezer drawer, mid-drawer and main double French doors that lead into a spacious fridge compartment.

Key features of the fridge compartment include LED lighting that illuminates every corner of the fridge, enabling consumers to find what they need easily and quickly. Users can experience additional convenience with Samsung’s new water filter, now placed between “veggie box” for hassle-free filter changes. There is no longer a need to remove items from the fridge to get to the filter.

Nestled in the middle of the refrigerator is an extra food storage compartment called the mid-drawer. Samsung designed this drawer to seamlessly integrate with consumers’ contemporary kitchens since the drawer is aligned with the height of modern countertops.

Additionally, the AW3’s adjustable Smart Divider efficiently organizes frequently accessed products like meats, beverages and snacks. Consumers can separately control foods in the mid-drawer with different temperature settings using Samsung’s new Café Look Dispenser, which illuminates an icy-blue light on a full touch panel display to easily monitor and modify settings.

Moving down toward the freezer compartment, a slight pull of the newly designed handle bar is all consumers need to slide out the two fully extended freezer drawers of Samsung’s AW3. The top drawer fully extends until the end of the bottom drawer so users can easily reach the items they need, and a small “Snack Pocket” can be found inside of the freezer box as an ideal location for small-sized snacks such as ice cream bars. This added space is perfect for consumers with children who need to quickly find and store snacks.

Samsung’s Twin Cooling Plus® technology keeps food and beverages at their utmost freshness in all compartments. Compared to conventional cooling systems in refrigerators, Twin Cool Plus® provides precise temperature control by cooling the refrigerator and freezer compartments individually, which allows items to stay fresh with optimal humidity.
