Samsung home appliances earn Top Ranking and Energy award

Samsung Electronics, a market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics and home appliances, was recently recognized with the highest ranking in the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 Laundry Appliance Study^SM, as well as the Green Apple award, for its Eco Bubble washing machine.

Samsung ranked “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Clothes Washers and Dryers,” according to the 2011 Laundry Appliance Study^SM released by J.D. Power and Associates, a prestigious U.S. consumer research company.

Samsung washing machines ranked highest for the third consecutive year since 2009. Samsung washers achieved high rankings in 2010 and maintained its hold on the top ranking in 2011.

Samsung washing machines scored highest in the categories of ease of use, styling, appearance and price. The company’s dryers retained their highest ranking for the fourth year in a row in customer satisfaction. Samsung achieved the highest ranking for its dryers in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. In the dryer category, Samsung earned praise for ease of use, styling and appearance, features and price.

In addition, Samsung washing machines were chosen as part of the 2011 Green Apple Environment Awards for their environmentally friendly features, such as Samsung's innovative Eco Bubble Technology, by The Green Organization, a British non-profit environmental group.

The Green Organization recognized the excellent energy-saving qualities of Samsung Eco Bubble washers. These machines are the world's first to use Eco Bubble Technology, which has been certified in many European countries and is steadily gaining a foothold in environmentally conscious British consumer households who value solid washing performance that saves energy.
