Samsung to showcase cutting edge business solutions At GITEX Technology Week

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in digital convergence technologies, today announced that it will be exhibiting its latest range of of integrated business solutions at GITEX Technology Week, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 14-18, 2012. 

At GITEX, Samsung will showcase its latest range of enterprise and B2B solutions that will consist of IT, Display and Mobility solutions which enhance efficiency. This is in line with its commitment to introducing cutting-edge technologies for businesses in the region. 

Commenting on Samsung’s Participation at GITEX, Mr. Madhav Narayan, Senior Regional Director, GCC, Enterprise Business at Samsung Gulf Electronics, said: “GITEX Technology Week remains the most significant ICT show of the year in the Middle East and it is an exciting time of year for Samsung.

This year, Samsung’s Display solutions will include LFD Video Wall, Transparent Displays, and 3D Video Wall. Enterprise solutions will be launched for industry sectors such as Education, Retail, Government and Banking. 

Samsung’s 75-inch LFD (ME75B) is the world’s largest edge-LED display, providing business users with a larger-than-life screen to play video content within a thin metallic black frame. Ideal for meeting spaces and educational environments, this display is engineered for businesses seeking to reduce energy costs and eliminate the need for projection equipment. 

In addition, Samsung’s 22-inch Transparent Display (NL22B) is a cube-shaped device that contains a transparent front panel with a computer built into the chassis. It allows images and animations to interact with the products showcased inside the cube. The Transparent Display offers mesmerizing image quality in a single, powerful package that allows retailers to create stunning in-store environments. Launching a new era of possibilities in digital retail design, Samsung’s transparent display transforms consumer shopping into a new immersive in-store experience. 

Within its mobility solutions, Samsung will display and demo its new line devices that include the GALAXY S III, the GALAXY Note 10.1 and the recently announced, GALAXY Note II. The mobile devices provide businesses with an efficient productivity solution in a portable format and can be used in various industries such as Healthcare, Security and Hospitality. Samsung’s R&D team is developing customized solutions that can be used in each of these industries. Furthermore, Samsung will showcase the Series 9 and SLATE PC Series 7 within its IT solutions.
