Samsung electronics sponsors 2nd BAB concert

Global leader in handheld technology, Samsung Electronics Levant sponsored the second “Bands Across Borders” concert, which was held on Friday March 9^th in the Cultural Palace located in Al-Hussein Sports City. 

Commenting on their sponsorship, Mr. SangSuk Roh, Samsung Electronics Levant President said, “We at Samsung Electronics truly believe in the importance of music and the arts in a youth’s life, and facilitating various opportunities that support their needs. As we gave the chance for two attending youths to win a GALAXY Y mobile phone, one of Samsung’s latest smart phones designed for youth.” He also added, “We were also amazed by the musical performance by the Jordanian and international artists, especially the show stopper “Mawtiny” performed by Hani Mitwasi, Aziz Maraqa and Pedro.” 

It is worth mentioning, BAB is considered one of the biggest musical activities taking place in Jordan, pulling in together a number of local and international artists, and 20 members band playing various instruments such as drums, bas, violin, cello, saxophone and piano.  And participating artists were Hani Mitwasi, Aziz Maraqa, Haifa Kamal, Alaa Wardi, and fluet player Pedro Ostash. 

The entertaining event to all attendees was also introduced by Jordanian comedian Mohammed Lahham and international comedian Won Ho Chang.
