Samsung launches Air Purifier to protect consumers from indoor viruses

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in household appliances and digital convergence technologies, today announced its latest addition to its household appliances business, the Air Purifier. The new state-of-the-art air purifier eliminates over 99% virus causing bacteria, all in an aesthetically pleasing design. 

By directing air through the air purifier, the air purifier catches potentially harmful airborne pollutants that cause a  range of illnesses especially for people who suffer from allergies and asthma. The UAE’s summer weather also increases allergy attacks amongst residents as the humid weather provides an ideal environment for mould to grow. 

As a way to tackle these issues, the Samsung Air Purifier is packed with a range of air purification functions that protects and purifies air quality. The effective functions include the Quadruple Premium Filters to keep air fresh and clean all day long through four layers of filtration. The filters remove pollen, animal fur microscopic dusts, and unpleasant odors and is a perfect feature for people who have young children at home. 

The Double Anti-Allergy function built into the Air Purifier eliminates harmful allergy causing substances while the premium Virus Doctor function eliminates 99 percent of biological contaminants and neutralizes all harmful contaminants including bacteria that resist physical filtration and eliminates 99% of virus causing germs including H1N1 viruses. The Virus Doctor also uses the S-Plasma ion technology that eliminates common cold and influenza viruses as well as bacteria and harmful fungi.This technology is also applied to Samsung’s air conditioning and air cleaners to deliver healthier and a cleaner living environment.
