Safe & Sound ‘Pink Book Sale’

The ‘Pink Book Sale’ returns to BurJuman on 7^th October from 11am to 6pm, as the BurJuman Safe and Sound Campaign commemorates Breast Cancer Awareness Month all through October with various events aimed at raising funds and driving awareness of the campaign’s goals.

All funds raised from the book sale will be donated to the campaign to be utilized in its activities benefitting women across UAE.

Individuals and corporations from the local community have donated more than 15,000 books over the past few months, assisted by non-profit organization Volunteer in Dubai. Aramex have extended their services to manage the pick-up and transportation of bigger book donations. Book donations are still being accepted in special collection boxes at BurJuman centre. The donated collection this year includes a great selection of fiction.

“The Pink Book Sale has been very successful in involving the local community in the awareness-raising drive.
