Renovations in Hamad General Hospital Emergency Department

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is undertaking a program to renovate and enhance our existing facilities to ensure we continue to offer the highest standards in healthcare to our patients in a caring, safe and restorative environment.
From March 2012, the revitalization work will focus on the Emergency Department (ED) at Hamad General Hospital (HGH). The work will be ongoing for several weeks.
The HGH ED will remain open at all times. There will be no reduction in service or capacity within the ED during the renovations.
To ensure the success of this program, patients, staff and visitors may experience some interruptions.
Hamad will work to ensure that these interruptions are minimal and patients, staff and visitors are informed.
