Eager guests recently gathered at The St. Regis Doha, for the opening of the much-anticipated new restaurant, Opal by Gordon Ramsay Doha.

Headed by Michelin-starred Chef Gilles Bosquet, Opal offers culinary delights inspired by Gordon Ramsay, one of the world’s most famous chefs. Serving western classics in a relaxed bistro-style environment, Opal by Gordon Ramsay Doha adds a delicious new dimension to dining out in Doha.

Guests were thrilled by both the setting, from the surprising circular conservatory bar to the extensive views of the shimmering Arabian Gulf.  Guests sampled a selection of canapés from Opal’s menu including freshly-sliced fish ceviche, crispy chicken wings lollipops, pizzas straight off the oven and juicy mini burgers, just to mention a few.  Guests also had the opportunity to get up close and personal with Chef Gilles Bosquet and his team, and Diego Gronda, Managing and Creative Director of Rockwell Group Europe, who designed the Gordon Ramsay space.

Opal by Gordon Ramsay is open from Monday to Saturday for both lunch and dinner.

The St. Regis Doha will offer the widest dining selection within a hotel in Qatar with 10 distinctive culinary and lounge experiences including the first Jazz at Lincoln Center outside of the United States.
