Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman gives back to the community through blood donation campaign

Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, a leading destination for business and leisure travellers, in cooperation with Sharjah Blood Transfusion Centre, Ministry of Health, and Bslips.com, recently organized a blood donation campaign in an effort to educate the community about the importance of donating blood to help save lives.

More than 75 participants from the hotel management and staff donated blood, making the campaign productive and successful. Ramada Ajman, in partnership with Bslips.com, set up a counter for registration of individuals who wish to donate blood and participate in related Corporate Social Responsibility activities.

Iftikhar Hamdani, General Manager, Ramada Hotel & Suites, Ajman said: “Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman continues to look for opportunities to contribute to the community and organizing a blood donation campaign is one of them. We recognize the importance of such initiatives in saving lives, especially during times of emergency. On behalf of the management team, I commend everyone who participated and donated blood as this will benefit a lot of people who are in need. We intend to hold this activity every six months and encourage other hotels and establishments in the Northern Emirates to be part of this campaign.”
