Ramada Abu Dhabi Corniche is set to launch the Silk Route Festival on January 25 and it will include four key countries involved in that historical route, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and China, said the General Manager, Mr. Julien Pechey.

The festival will include cultural and heritage events and it will start with Turkey during 25th – 30th January, Mr. Pechey said.

He said Turkish artists and chefs would take part in the festival and that 12 of them have already arrived in Abu Dhabi.

The Uzbekistan cuisine night, focused on traditional Samarkand food will be held in February while the Tajikistan and China events will take place in March, April and May respectively.

“This is the first time the hotel hosts such an event, which reflects our keenness to promote dialogue among cultures and civilizations and to highlight the heritage and cultures of the Silk Route countries,” he said.

He noted that the Turkish festival would include local cuisine, cultural events and folklore music.
