Ramada Ajman observes World Environment Day

Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman, takes part in the observance of World Environment Day through a series of activities aimed at raising awareness among the staffs, guests and students regarding the conservation and protection of the environment.

The in-house guests were given a tour at the urban farm and compost machine room, which were converted from the property’s vast parking area, to keep them informed about the environmental initiatives carried out by the hotel. The guests were also served with complementary green juices such as lemon mint, where the mint leaves were gathered from the urban farm.

The hotel also invited students from selected schools in Ajman for a similar tour to create awareness on the importance of green practices at an early age.

Ramada Ajman hosted a small workshop, which was headed by its Chief Engineer Asrar Masoodi and Executive Housekeeper Shahid Akhtar, to educate the staffs about water and energy conservation. In addition, the staffs were advised to use eco-friendly bags and ceramic tableware in lieu of plastics and disposable cups and utensils.
