RAK Ceramics CEO receives Honorary Stevie Award during 8th Annual International Business Awards 2011

The 8^th Annual International Business Awards 2011 has bestowed an Honorary Stevie Award to Dr. Khater Massaad for his achievements as the visionary CEO behind the success of RAK Ceramics, the world's largest ceramic tiles & bathware manufacturing company. The International Business Awards 2011, more widely known as the Stevie Awards, was held on Tuesday (October 11, 2011) at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qassimi, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade.

As CEO of RAK Ceramics, Dr. Massaad has led and guided the company to become a USD 1 billion global conglomerate and the world’s largest ceramic tiles manufacturer in less than two decades. Dr. Massaad, who holds a Ph.D in Geophysics from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland and an M.Sc in Mathematics, implemented a global expansion and rapid diversification strategy that allowed RAK Ceramics to expand its presence to more than 150 countries.
